Private Lacrosse Coach

About the role

STXZ Lacrosse has openings for independent lacrosse coaches in the Akron area to fill private‑lesson requests that come through the platform. STXZ brings you clients, handles administrative work, and lets you coach on your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• When you accept a client offer, contact the family within 24 hours.
• Agree on a schedule and location (client’s home, a local field, a park, or your choice).
• Run the session your way — choose drills, pacing, and structure based on your professional judgment.
• Submit a brief lesson summary on the platform after each session.
• Maintain clear communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team and act professionally.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ before receiving full client details.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, OR
• Playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.

Skills

• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

• $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate.
• Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson.
• Payout within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• Paid per completed session; lesson volume depends on client demand, with no guaranteed minimum.

Schedule

Most lessons occur on weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You control when you work and can pause your availability at any time.
