Private Lacrosse Coach

About the Role

STXZ Lacrosse is seeking independent lacrosse coaches in the Orchard Park, NY area to provide private lessons for families that request them. You will receive client leads, run the sessions on your own schedule, and handle lesson briefings after each session.

How It Works

• When a family requests lessons, STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
• You review the offer and decide whether to accept it—no quotas or penalties for declining.
• If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours.
• You and the client agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
• You conduct the session using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• After the session you submit a brief lesson report on the platform.
• STXZ processes payment and handles client billing, refunds, and disputes.

Compensation

• Earn $35 – $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate (rates vary by market and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson).
• Payout occurs within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• No guaranteed minimum lesson volume; lesson volume depends on client demand.
• No application fee and no upfront costs.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability at any time.

What You Control

• Your schedule – accept or decline offers without penalty.
• Your coaching methods – drills, lesson plans, teaching style.
• Your territory – set your travel radius (a few miles up to 35 + miles).
• Your approach – decide what equipment to bring to each session.

What STXZ Handles

• Client acquisition – marketing the platform and bringing families to you.
• Matching – sending local client offers that fit your profile.
• Payment processing – collecting from clients and paying you after each session.
• Billing, refunds, and disputes – managed by STXZ support.
• Liability coverage – platform liability coverage program ($30 per year fee, $0 down; fee recovered from your first lesson payout). Independent coaches may also carry personal insurance.

Who This Is For

• Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ before receiving full client details.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Your own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.
