About the role

Coach lacrosse on your own schedule in Waxhaw, North Carolina. STXZ Lacrosse connects families with independent lacrosse coaches, sends you client requests, and handles administrative work so you can focus on coaching.

Responsibilities

• Review client offers and decide whether to accept.
• Contact the client within 24 hours of receiving an offer.
• Agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
• Run the session using your professional judgment for drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a brief lesson report on the platform after each session.
• Maintain communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check.
• Reliable transportation to training locations.
• Own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication skills with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

• $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate.
• Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before the first lesson.
• Payout within 24–48 hours after submitting the lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year end if earnings exceed $2,000.
• No fee to apply and nothing due up front; a $30 annual liability coverage fee is recovered from the first lesson payout.

Schedule

• Most lessons run weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Work when you want; you can pause availability at any time.
• You control your schedule, travel radius, equipment, and lesson methods.
