About the role

STXZ is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. We send you client requests in your area, handle the administrative work, and get out of your way so you can coach on your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review client offers sent by STXZ and decide whether to accept (no quotas, no pressure, no penalty for declining).
• Contact the client directly within 24 hours of acceptance.
• Agree with the client on schedule and location (their home, a local field, a park, or your choice).
• Run the session using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform after the session.
• Receive payment for each completed session.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ before receiving full client details.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Benefits

Active coaches are enrolled in STXZ's platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through STXZ. The program fee is $30 per year, with $0 down; the fee is recovered from your first lesson payout once you start coaching. This coverage is limited to platform‑booked sessions; you may also carry your own personal insurance.

Pay

You earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. Payout occurs within 24 to 48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal. A 1099‑NEC is issued at year end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform. You are paid per completed session; lesson volume depends on client demand in your area, and STXZ does not guarantee a minimum number of lessons. There is no fee to apply and nothing to pay up front.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability anytime.
