Independent lacrosse coaches in Amherst, New York work on a flexible schedule, running private lessons for families that STXZ connects them with. Coaches run the sessions, choose drills, pacing, and structure, and submit a brief lesson report after each session.

How it works

• Family requests a lesson through STXZ.
• STXZ sends a client offer with details.
• Coach reviews and decides to accept or decline (no quotas or penalties).
• Coach contacts the client within 24 hours, agrees on schedule and location.

Compensation

• Earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, flat per‑lesson rate.
• Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before the first lesson.
• Payout within 24–48 hours after submitting the lesson briefing via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year end if earnings exceed $2,000.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. Coaches work when they want and can pause availability at any time.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 years or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.
