Private Lacrosse Coach
About the role
STXZ Lacrosse is seeking independent lacrosse coaches in the Tappan, New York area to provide private lessons for families that request them through the platform. You will receive client leads, run the sessions on your own terms, and handle lesson briefings after each session.
How it works
- A family near Tappan requests lessons through STXZ.
- STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
- You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas or penalties for declining.
- If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours, agree on schedule and location, and conduct the session using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
- After the session you submit a brief lesson report on the platform.
- STXZ processes payment and handles client billing, refunds, and disputes.
Compensation
Earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. Payout occurs within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing via PayPal. A 1099‑NEC is issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
Schedule
Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You control when you work, can pause availability at any time, and set your own travel radius (from a few miles up to 35 + miles).
Benefits
- No application fee and no upfront costs.
- STXZ handles client acquisition, matching, payment processing, and dispute resolution.
- Liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions (annual program fee $30, recovered from your first lesson payout; $0 due to start).
- Flexible, independent‑contractor arrangement—set your own methods, equipment, and schedule.
Requirements
- Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
- Reliable transportation to training locations.
