About the role

STXZ Lacrosse is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. As an independent coach in the Albany area you will receive client offers, handle the coaching session yourself, and submit a brief lesson report. The platform handles client acquisition, payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, and provides limited liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions.

Responsibilities

• Review client offers sent by STXZ and decide whether to accept.
• Contact the client directly within 24 hours of receiving an offer.
• Agree on schedule and location (client’s home, a local field, a park, etc.).
• Run the lacrosse lesson using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a quick lesson briefing on the STXZ platform after each session.
• Maintain professional communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication skills with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

Earn $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate. Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson. Payout occurs within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing via PayPal. A 1099‑NEC is issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform. Lesson volume depends on client demand; there is no guaranteed minimum number of lessons.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You choose when to work, can pause availability at any time, and set your own travel radius (from a few miles up to 35 + miles).
