Private Lacrosse Coach

About the role

STXZ Lacrosse is seeking independent lacrosse coaches in Manhattan to provide private lessons for families that request them. You will receive client leads, run the sessions on your own terms, and handle post‑lesson reporting. The position is 18 or older, flexible, and operates on a contractor basis.

How it works

• A family near Manhattan requests lessons through the STXZ platform.
• STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
• You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas or penalties for declining.
• If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours, agree on schedule and location, and conduct the session.
• After the lesson you submit a brief lesson report on the platform.
• STXZ processes payment and issues a payout.

Responsibilities

• Contact the client promptly after accepting an offer.
• Coordinate session time, location (home, field, park, etc.), and any equipment needs.
• Design and run the lesson using your own drills, pacing, and structure.
• Submit a concise lesson briefing after each session.
• Maintain professional communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.

Requirements

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Your own lacrosse stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication skills with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.

Pay

• $35 to $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate.
• Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before the first lesson.
• Payout within 24 to 48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• Payment is per completed session; there is no guaranteed minimum lesson volume.

Schedule

• Most lessons run weekday afternoons/evenings and on weekends.
• You choose when to work and can pause your availability at any time.
• You control your own schedule, travel radius, and equipment choices for each session.
