About the role

STXZ Lacrosse is seeking independent lacrosse coaches in the Field, New York area to provide private lessons for families. You will receive client requests, run the sessions on your own schedule, and handle lesson briefings after each session.

How it works

• When a family requests lessons, STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
• You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas or penalties for declining.
• If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours, agree on schedule and location, and conduct the session using your own drills and structure.
• After the session you submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform.
• STXZ handles client acquisition, payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, and provides liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions.

Pay

• $35 – $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate (rates vary by market and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson).
• Payout within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
• 1099‑NEC issued at year‑end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
• No fee to apply and nothing due up front; a $30 annual liability‑coverage fee is recovered from your first lesson payout.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability at any time.

What you control

• Your schedule – accept or decline offers without penalty.
• Your coaching methods – drills, lesson plans, teaching style.
• Your territory – set your travel radius (a few miles up to 35 + miles).
• Your approach – decide what equipment to bring to each session.

What STXZ handles

• Client acquisition and marketing.
• Matching you with local client offers that fit your profile.
• Payment collection from clients and payout to you.
• Billing, refunds, and dispute resolution through the support team.

Liability coverage

Active coaches are enrolled in STXZ’s platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through STXZ. The program costs $30 per year, with $0 due up front; the fee is deducted from your first lesson payout. Coverage applies only to platform‑booked sessions; independent coaches may also carry personal insurance.

Who this is for

• Coaching experience at the youth, high school, club, or college level, or playing experience at the high school varsity, club, college, or professional level.
• 18 or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to complete a third‑party background check arranged by STXZ.
• Reliable transportation to training locations.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, training aids).
• Strong communication with parents, players, and the STXZ team.
• Professionalism and confidence working independently with families and youth athletes.
