Private Investigator / SIU Fraud Investigator

About the Role

Seeking a motivated person (experienced or entry level) to investigate insurance fraud claims in the West Palm Beach area. The role combines desktop investigations from home with local field work, approximately 60% desktop and 40% field. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Background investigations (social media, asset, criminal, civil)
• Desktop research for in-depth claims investigations
• Recorded statements (in-person and phone) for auto, homeowners, and workers’ comp claims
• Locates
• Accident scene investigations
• Notarization of documents
• Produce accurate, timely, and detailed reports
• Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and some weekends

Qualifications

• For entry-level: demonstrated interest in the Private Investigative field (Criminal Justice Degree, Adjuster, Paralegal, Military, Journalism, or related field)
• For seasoned investigators: experience in research, criminal, civil, social media background investigations, recorded statements, scene investigations, and locates
