Private Investigator / SIU Fraud Investigator
Seeking a motivated person (experienced or entry-level) to investigate the facts surrounding insurance claims. Full-time positions available in the Tampa Bay area, combining remote work and local field work. Spanish language skills are a plus.
About the role
For entry-level candidates, demonstrated interest in the Private Investigative field is required (e.g., Criminal Justice Degree, Adjuster, Paralegal, Military, Journalism, or related field). We provide extensive training, including coverage of Florida notary certification, PI course, and Florida PI license. Seasoned investigators should have experience in one or more of the following: research, criminal, civil, and social media background investigations, recorded statements, scene investigations, and locates.
Responsibilities
- Background investigations (social media, asset, criminal, and civil)
- Desktop research (in-depth claims investigations)
- Conduct recorded statements (in-person and phone)
- Locates
- Accident scene investigations
- Notarization of documents
- Produce accurate, timely, and detailed reports
- Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and some weekends
Approximately 70% of time is spent on desktop investigations and 30% on local field work.

Pay
$22–$32 hourly, commensurate with experience.
