About the role
Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Equity Deal Scouts to identify, originate, and introduce qualified private equity investment opportunities to our investor and sponsor network. This is not an employment role. Private Equity Deal Scouts operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.
Responsibilities
- Sources proprietary or semi-proprietary private equity opportunities
- Identifies lower-middle-market and middle-market transactions
- Introduces deals to Initio Sphere’s private equity and sponsor network
- Provides high-level deal context (business model, ownership, size, structure, investment thesis)
- Collaborates with analysts and sponsors for early-stage diligence handoffs
Requirements
- Already close to deal flow
- Professionals including operators, advisors, intermediaries, former bankers, consultants, and highly networked professionals
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing private equity deals
- Access to a network of potential sellers and sponsors
- Strong understanding of private equity deal structures and processes
Skills
- Deal origination and sourcing skills
- Ability to provide high-level deal context
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

Pay
Typical earnings range from $1,000 to $10,000+ per closed transaction, paid only after successful transaction close and fee collection. Economics vary by deal size, structure, and Scout role in origination.

Flexible, as deals are sourced independently. Approval and deal activation occur through the Initio Sphere platform.
