The Role

  • Advises strategic buyers, sellers, and private equity clients on high-value M&A and PE transactions
  • Led drafting, negotiation, and due diligence across complex, often cross-border deals
  • Works alongside market-leading partners and a globally connected team of corporate lawyers
  • Manages multiple deals and coordinates across internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • 2–6 years of private equity and M&A experience at an AmLaw 100 or equivalent firm
  • JD from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in Illinois
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and able to manage complex transactions independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively
