The Role
- Advises strategic buyers, sellers, and private equity clients on high-value M&A and PE transactions
- Led drafting, negotiation, and due diligence across complex, often cross-border deals
- Works alongside market-leading partners and a globally connected team of corporate lawyers
- Manages multiple deals and coordinates across internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- 2–6 years of private equity and M&A experience at an AmLaw 100 or equivalent firm
- JD from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in Illinois
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, proactive, and able to manage complex transactions independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively
