Private Duty RN for Assessments

About the role

Amaray Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-person assessments across the PG County area. The ideal candidate should be a licensed RN with experience in home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and update the plan of care based on doctor’s orders.
• Perform initial and follow-up patient visits, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assess and document patient symptoms and progress.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies and regulations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and care techniques.
• Coordinate patient services and supervise LPNs and CNAs.
• Notify healthcare providers of changes in patient condition and coordinate care.
• Update clinical records and case conferences with clinicians.
• Adhere to Medicaid and Medicare regulations.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Positive attitude towards working with patients, families, and staff.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in assessing patient conditions and administering care.
• Experience in home care settings preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
