About the role
Novice Nurse – Registered Nurse with less than 12 months of experience participating in a specialized training program.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress and intervene in changing conditions
- Document care and physician collaboration
- Ensure safety of environment and equipment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
Skills & Support
- Gain hands-on experience through 1-on-1 patient care in a home setting
- Mentorship from experienced nurses
- Develop skills in direct patient care, care management, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking
- Supported by a clinical team
