Private Duty Nursing - LPN (Novice Nurse)

About the role

Novice Nurse – Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with less than 12 months of experience, participating in a specialized training program to develop skills in direct patient care within home settings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document progress
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to supervisors or physicians
• Document collaboration and coordination of care
• Ensure safety and proper environment and equipment use

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Active LPN/LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
