Private Duty Nurse LVN - Days (Part Time/Full Time)

We are seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and report updates.
• Document assessments, actions, and responses accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self‑care, and prevention.
• Maintain infection control standards and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing education and skill development.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practice state.
• Current CPR certification (Aveanna offers assistance if needed).
• TB test within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Experience in clinical care or home health preferred.
• Ability to function in diverse environments with potential exposure to infectious materials.
• Physical ability to perform patient repositioning, mobility, and emergency response.
