About the role

This role is ideal for LPNs looking to supplement their income without the stress of additional hospital shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support in the home
  • Avoid the chaos of a facility environment
  • Assist with daily living activities
  • Administer medication reminders or administration (when applicable)
  • Safety oversight and companionship
  • Maintain light documentation per RNS standards
  • Support comfort and recovery monitoring for post-op clients
  • Offer pain management support (non-clinically)
  • Handle transportation and errands
  • Supervise safety during the first 24-48 hours post-surgery

Requirements

  • Current Kansas or Missouri LPN or RN license (in good standing)
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills
  • CPR certification (or completion within 90 days of hire)
  • TB test (current or within 90 days of hire)
  • Prior home health or private duty experience preferred, but not required
