Private Credit Associate (New York)

About the role

Katten, a Global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Private Credit Department, working from its Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York or Washington, DC office.

Requirements

• At least 3‑5 years of experience in private credit/finance matters at a nationally recognized law firm or other relevant legal experience.
• Demonstrated lending experience (borrower‑side exposure is a plus).
• General experience with a variety of financing transactions, including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.
• Experience with asset‑based financings, restructurings and workouts is a plus.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $235,000 - $440,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
