Private Credit Associate

About the role

Katten, a Global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Private Credit Department, working from its Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York or Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated lending experience (borrowers side exposure is a plus)
• General experience with a variety of financing transactions, including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations (experience with asset-based financings, restructurings and workouts is a plus)

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have at least 3-5 years of experience in private credit/finance matters at a nationally recognized law firm or other relevant legal experience.

Qualifications

The estimated salary range for this role is $225,000 - $420,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
