Private Client Director, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding.
- Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before offering recommendations or advancing to subsequent stages.
- Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying phases of enrollment, maintaining full transparency on progression and outreach.
- Directing campus visits, student observation sessions, and decision-focused discussions that articulate results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, resource allocation, and service excellence.

- Applying volume-focused or aggressive conversion methods.
- Admitting families who lack appropriate fit in order to satisfy quotas.
- Overseeing large teams or operating within complex hierarchical structures.
- Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple departments.
- Operating remotely.
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years providing high-caliber, individualized service in settings where service delivery directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or independently operated services).
- Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial engagement through onboarding completion.
- Experience concurrently coordinating 20+ client, guest, or family interactions across multiple stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization framework.
- Capacity to present specific examples of advisory decision-making, including instances where you counseled against your offering when alignment was absent.
- Professional correspondence experience with senior leadership, affluent clientele, or discerning stakeholders.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these regions: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience within selective independent school admissions or high-barrier program enrollment.
- Background in upscale hospitality, VIP client services, or C-suite support functions.
- Experience designing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
- Proficiency leveraging analytics and CRM intelligence to enhance enrollment quality, not merely velocity.
