About the role

This position leads the Client Management Process, partners across the enterprise to provide a Branded Client Experience, and ensures access to the full array of Private Bank and Bank of America capabilities. The role focuses on client retention and is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and federal registry system registration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Client Process Management within the client team to identify new business development opportunities
  • Source new clients in alignment with the bank's established risk appetite
  • Lead the client team to deliver meaningful interactions and a Branded Client Experience
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs, preferences, and overall wealth strategy, responding to changes in the business environment or client needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing integrated recommendations including wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, and asset management
  • Encourage the use and adoption of digital capabilities to enhance the client and client team experience
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners and centers of influence

Requirements

  • 12+ years of private banking or complex financial services experience OR equivalent financial services/business experience
  • Proven ability to drive new business development for target client segment ($3MM++ investable assets)
  • Ability to present a holistic approach, leveraging the entire Private Bank platform
  • High-touch, client-focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proactive leader who identifies opportunities for client engagement
  • Strong influencing skills; ability to proactively ask for and close business
  • Solutions-oriented with strong sales and financial aptitude
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Ability to identify the need for team specialists and collaborate closely with other team members
  • Takes on a leadership role on the team and within the business community
  • Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) required (may obtain licenses within 90 days of start date)

Qualifications

  • MBA or Post-Graduate Degree preferred
  • CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM, or JD a significant plus
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent (minimum education requirement)
