Private Bank Service Specialist III
About the role
The Private Bank Service Specialist III, as part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Partners with one or more Private Bank Premier Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to clients. Maintains a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence and focuses on identifying, assessing, and managing risk while adhering to policies and procedures. Covers multiple practices including Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day client interactions, including establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of relationships for personal and business deposit accounts, wealth & investment management accounts, consumer lending, and mortgages.
- Assist with or lead special projects as requested by management and partners.
- Act as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.
- Resolve complex support issues and maintain awareness of risk management and policy adherence.
- Provide administrative support for one or more advisors, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Maintain effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, providing detailed account information and disbursing funds as appropriate.
- Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex account problems.
- Make routine decisions in the absence of an officer and advise clients on bank products and services.
- Process and maintain documentation, attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
- Compile information from various sources to prepare reports and communicate via memos and correspondence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services, and train others as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services.
- Notary public certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- NMLS license (required within the first 120 days).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
- Excellent customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and independently.
- Administrative experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Huntington applications.
Schedule
This position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement combining in-office and work-from-home opportunities. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team. The role requires in-office presence but can be located anywhere within the Huntington footprint.
This is a non-exempt position (eligible for overtime pay).
Pay
The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
