Private Bank Service Specialist III
The Private Bank Service Specialist III, as part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Partners with one or more Private Bank Premier Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to clients. Maintains a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence while identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures. Service coverage spans multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, & Investment Management).
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day client interactions, including establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of relationships for personal and business deposit accounts, wealth & investment management accounts, consumer lending, and mortgages.
- Assist with or lead special projects as requested by management and partners.
- Train and mentor new and existing service specialists, acting as a key resource across the footprint.
- Resolve complex support issues and maintain effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel.
- Provide detailed account information to clients and disburse funds as appropriate.
- Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex account problems.
- Make routine decisions in the absence of an officer and advise clients on bank products and services.
- Process and maintain accurate and complete documentation, potentially attending meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
- Compile information from various sources to prepare reports and communicate via memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies, and others.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services, and train others as needed.
- Participate in identifying issues of concern and keep department management informed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services.
- Notary public certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- NMLS license (required within the first 120 days).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
- Excellent customer service skills; highly motivated, focused, and goal-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and independently.
- Administrative experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Huntington applications.
Schedule
- This position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement combining in-office and work-from-home opportunities, with specific arrangements provided by the hiring team.
- Position can be located anywhere in the Huntington footprint but requires in-office presence.
Pay
The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on location, experience, and education. Eligible for participation in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
