Private Bank Analyst - Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Private Bank Analyst II – Portfolio Manager is an entry‑level position focused on learning all aspects of managing a portfolio of client household relationships and delivering high‑quality services. The role is designed to progress to the next level within 24 months, with responsibility for the sales goals of that Level I position.

Responsibilities

• Receive training in an investment and Portfolio Manager role, gaining broad knowledge of sales and service capabilities.
• Develop excellent networking and new‑client acquisition skills in preparation for a future sales role.
• Engage appropriate practice‑specialty professionals to provide fully integrated delivery of comprehensive Private Bank services.
• Support high client service levels, strong retention, and contribute to overall household revenue growth through new client acquisition and cross‑sell.
• Contribute to the attainment of profitability for the region.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 + year experience in banking or finance
• Investment knowledge (preferred)
• Strong client service and communication skills (preferred)
• Exempt status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)

Work arrangement

Primary workplace type is office. Certain positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement that combines in‑office and remote work, allowing teams to deepen connections while maintaining productivity. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
