Position Summary

The Printing and Engraving Specialist is responsible for operating printing and engraving equipment, producing high-quality finished products, interpreting technical drawings and schematics, and preparing artwork using Adobe Creative Suite. This position ensures accuracy, quality, and on-time completion of customer and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing and engraving equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Create, modify, and prepare artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related Adobe applications.
• Set up jobs, adjust machine settings, and monitor production quality.
• Perform inspections to verify dimensions, alignment, engraving depth, and print quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Maintain production records and job documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with printing, engraving, signage, labeling, or related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC engraving, laser engraving, or industrial printing equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Prior experience in a custom fabrication or industrial environment.
