About the Role

Set up, operate, and oversee automated processes to print mat products at a leading global flooring manufacturer. This role involves technical operations, quality control, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient production levels.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and oversee automated processes for printing mat products.
• Perform all activities related to the effective startup, continuous operation, and shutdown of automatic machines using operational software.
• Conduct frequent visual and manual inspections to ensure proper operational functioning.
• Troubleshoot various machine malfunctions to expedite problem resolution and maintain production levels.
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications, preventing or detecting jams or malfunctions and adjusting as necessary.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Record production stops and explanations to report back to supervisors and technical experts for efficiency improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Required ability to comprehend written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture of goods.
