Print Sample Specialist

About the role
The Print Sample Specialist will support Markem-Imaje’s sales teams by providing proof of concept and evidence of printer capability to minimize the risk of sale and support the sales process. You will collaborate with regional sample centers to create proactive trend analysis used by Sales, Marketing, and R&D organizations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Commercial Sales Group to align testing and feasibility priorities of the Business Unit.
- Define the Markem-Imaje solution according to the customer's requirements.
- Check the quality of marking using Markem-Imaje (M-I) test methodology.
- Perform tests and analysis in line with Global SLAs.
- Supply high-quality technical feedback (reports) with complete descriptions of solutions, including benefits and weaknesses of each tested solution.
- Carry out administrative tasks to manage incoming sampling requests (material receipt, request review, data management, and outbound shipments).
- Design and implement lean management principles into day-to-day activities.
- Serve as an active member of the global sampling committee.
- Update user tools to facilitate proactive analysis and reporting to the sales organization on new trends in applications or market space to enhance MI’s competitive advantage.
- Assist management in identifying and implementing changes to improve the effectiveness of the Vision & Sampling centers.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical discipline.
- 1-3 years’ experience in mechanical and/or electrical applications, preferably in a manufacturing or support facility.
- Experience with Six Sigma principles, continuous improvement, problem-solving, or lean management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently; self-driven and motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
- SAP and/or Salesforce experience preferred.

Pay
$27.72 - $37.52 per hour. This position is bonus-eligible based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
