Print Room Inspector (2nd)

Key Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Reads and understands print specifications for each order.
• Inspects pails coming off the printer for accuracy using the customer’s sample pail.
• Verifies image content, color, and alignment.
• Packs pails according to print specifications using the proper pallet types and required quantities.
• Affixes pails to pallets per customer specifications.
• Assists the operator with setup for the next job after completing an order.
• Washes rollers and plates.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities): Detail-oriented. Exceptional hand-eye coordination.
• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required)
• Experience: None required.
• Physical Job Requirements: Ability to lift and handle a minimum of 45–50 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform work from a standing position for extended periods of time. All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection where required, etc.).
