Room Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public areas, and record relevant information on the Housekeeping Inspection Report.
• Distribute new items to Room Attendants for stocking in guest rooms.
• Notify the Maintenance Department of necessary repairs or maintenance work via work orders or verbal communication.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in conducting room attendant training to improve performance in weak areas identified in evaluations.
• Assist in completing room assignments for Guest Room Attendants using the Housekeeping Report.
• Support cleaning rooms or public areas and perform laundry functions as workload requires.
