Print Production Facility Associate

About the role

We provide training and cross train in different functions of our Digital Print Facility. This role is not in a store; instead, it handles large print orders originating from our stores.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative and inclusive in helping customers meet their copy and print needs
• Produce and finish large copy, print and signage orders using high volume digital print equipment
• Follow production workflow to produce high volume of work
• Operate a variety of finishing equipment including cutters, drills and bindery
• Prepare and troubleshoot various file formats and ensure they are in PDF print-ready status
• Ensure all work is produced in accordance with the job ticket and customer's quality expectations
• Properly use and care for all equipment and comply with operating instructions and maintenance schedules
• Partner with the Production Facility Lead for the timely processing of projects
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned; may also serve as backup driver

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and sound organizational skills
• Experience managing many priorities
• Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively
• Basic computer skills (able to size and print documents)

Skills

• Experience working in a print environment
• Experience using and editing PDF files in a digital print manufacturing environment

Pay

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
