About the role

The Principal or Senior Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst position at Northrop Grumana Aeronautics Systems is located onsite at our Palmdale, CA facility. This role involves overseeing, managing, and analyzing activities associated with asset business systems to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer, and US Government property located at subcontractors are managed in compliance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence
  • Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes
  • Prepare periodic and special purpose reports related to matters such as property and material reviews, physical inventory planning, contract accountable government furnished property (GFP), and other ad-hoc reports, as needed
  • Conduct property surveillance reviews at supplier and subcontractor sites
  • Interact and effectively communicate with Northrop Grumman (NG) senior leadership
  • Cook up with multiple disciplines, to include Global Supply Chain, ensuring processes are performed and documentation is maintained as required by USG FAR regulations and NG procedures
  • Compute, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • Recommend and implement property management policy
  • Aid and provide guidance to other team members, as necessary

Requirements

  • For Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Government Property & Asset Management or a master’s degree with 3 years stated experience or a PhD with 1 years of experience in Government Property & Asset Management
  • For Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in Government Property & Asset Management or a master’s degree with 6 years stated experience or a PhD with 4 years of experience in Government Property & Asset Management

Qualifications

  • Diverse knowledge of Government Property related contractual requirements, including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and DFARS property management clauses
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel formulas, charts, pivot tables and PowerPoint
  • Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

Skills

  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with Northrop Grumman (NG) senior leadership
  • Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • Ability to recommend and implement property management policy
  • Ability to assist and provide guidance to other team members, as necessary

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $160,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $107,000.00 - $133,500.00

Schedule

Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
