About the role

We are seeking a Principal Workday Solutions Architect who is highly analytical, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and has excellent communication skills. This role offers opportunities to lead innovative projects and further develop your professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR business teams and Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process design.
• Lead the design and implementation of Workday solutions to meet business needs, acting as a subject matter expert for various Workday modules.
• Conceptualize end-to-end process designs and provide expert guidance on best practices and system optimization.
• Provide technical leadership, drive Workday process enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the architecture aligns with stakeholder concerns and enterprise-wide goals.
• Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and trends, identifying opportunities to improve solution delivery processes.
• Excel in translating technical solutions into meaningful insights for HR and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of HR business processes and how technology can improve them.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, including a deep understanding of Workday architecture, system logic, and configuration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
• Relevant years of recent experience working on Workday in a global professional services environment, specifically supporting HR functions.
• Experience with project delivery frameworks, including Agile, iterative, and waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its subsets is an added advantage.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $157,700.00 - $210,300.00. An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business needs. This range applies to jobs performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote roles that can be performed in these states. The range may be modified in the future.

If your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be eligible for shift differential pay, bonuses under WD’s Short Term Incentive Plan (STI Plan) or Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), and participation in the annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which may include restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires.
