Principal/VP/Senior Associate (Credit)

About the Role

A specialty lending firm providing tailored credit solutions in the Wealth Management space is seeking a motivated individual to join their growing team. The firm delivers flexible capital solutions to support growth, M&A, succession planning, and strategic initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in credit underwriting and structured finance.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in underwriting, structuring, and execution of new credit investments
• Serve as primary relationship manager for portfolio companies
• Oversee ongoing credit monitoring and risk management
• Mentor junior investment professionals
• Represent the firm with borrowers, advisors, and other key industry partners

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience for Senior Associate or 10+ years of experience for Principal
• Experience in buy-side private credit, specialty finance, or sell-side credit research
• Demonstrated expertise in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and transaction execution
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Based in New York or Miami
