Principal TPM, Search
About the role
The Amazon Search team is responsible for helping customers find relevant products that meet their expectations in terms of price, quality, and convenience. Our goal is to make shopping easy and enable customers to shop with confidence. We are seeking a Principal TPM to join our team and leverage advanced machine learning algorithms on search and recommendation problems to enhance the Amazon search experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs that help the organization meet its long-term goals.
- Partner with technical, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver results at scale.
- Collaborate with science, engineering, product, and UX design to implement scalable, and efficient solutions to key customer problems in search.
- Define KPIs and metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement and provide actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.
- Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $177,000.00 - $239,400.00 USD annually.
