About the role

The Amazon Search team is responsible for helping customers find relevant products that meet their expectations in terms of price, quality, and convenience. Our goal is to make shopping easy and enable customers to shop with confidence. We are seeking a Principal TPM to join our team and leverage advanced machine learning (AI/ML), personalization, and ranking algorithms to enhance the Amazon search experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs that help the organization meet its long-term goals.
  • Possess a customer-centric approach, innovative thinking, and effective communication across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with science, engineering, product, and UX design to implement scalable, and efficient solutions to key customer problems in search.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure success, identify areas for improvement and provide actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.
  • Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical program management experience
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, WA, Seattle - 177,000.00 - 239,400.00 USD annually
