Principal Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and scale mission-critical test automation and quality assurance strategies.
• Craft strategic test plans and test cases.
• Create and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and diagnostic test reports.
• Utilize automated testing tools and methods (such as Selenium or similar frameworks).
• Create customized testing scripts and conduct thorough backend verification using command line prompts.
• Track software anomalies from discovery through validation and report deployment readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating, executing, and managing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and diagnostic test reports.
• Direct familiarity and hands-on experience utilizing automated testing tools and methods (such as Selenium or similar frameworks).
• Strong experience creating customized testing scripts, utilizing command line prompts, and conducting thorough backend verification.
• Ability to track software anomalies from discovery through validation and successfully report out deployment readiness.

Desired Skills

• Experience integrating automated test suites into modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with tracking database queries or data verification during backend validations.
• Strong communication skills with a team-first mindset, always focused on delivering clear, actionable technical solutions.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $151,000-$172,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
