Principal Technology Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager in Technology banking within Specialized Industries as part of Commercial Banking.
About the role
Serve as an expert advisor to lead highly complex and substantial cash flow and real estate loans and certain other industry-specific solutions with Mid-Corporate clients having enterprise impact, high risk, or significant scope. Responsibilities include analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Strategically lead and resolve the full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to Mid-Corporate clients to meet their most complex and significant needs across multiple areas of the enterprise. This may require in-depth evaluation by engaging product organizations to develop client-specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions. You may also coordinate highly complex activities and resolutions.
Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Mid-Corporate Relationship Management company-wide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations.
Strategically lead all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives, and represent the company externally. Serve as an expert advisor to leadership, act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues, and offer the full suite of solutions to commercial clients.
Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems such as Customer Relationship Management systems.
Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients by cultivating relationships through your existing network.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Technology Sector
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients and partnerships with internal teams
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
Job Expectations
Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses, or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent, must be completed within 180 days of the date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA-recognized equivalents will be accepted. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information about expectations will be shared during the recruitment process.
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening, and are required to report certain incidents.
