Responsibilities

  • Provide test support to the Missile Defense System (MDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) Team.
  • Drive project management activities to support the development and delivery of Missile Defense Systems (MDS) tests.
  • Audit complex systems through synthesis of analytical results and expert judgment, review technical documentation, conduct analytical studies, and prepare technical reports/briefings.
  • Review technical guidance and execution support, shape cyber survivability assessment reports and briefings that highlight cyber posture, and potential impact on MDS mission effectiveness.
  • Manage resources to optimize the cyber team’s capacity to deliver timely results.
  • Support business development activities for nSI.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science, or significant expertise (20+ years) in missile defense systems in lieu of degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a technical field related to missile defense and/or technical analysis of a complex weapon system.
  • Must be eligible to obtain or have an active SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and be proficient with MS Office automation tools.
  • Must be able to work at our customer site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior practical experience in the management, planning, execution, and assessment of a Missile Defense System Flight Test, Ground Test Integrated (GTI), or Ground Test Distributed (GTD).
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) integrated test philosophy, test regulations, and coordinated test and evaluation programs.
  • Experience with operational testing and assessment of effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of a weapon system.
  • Experience in space operations and space systems architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team, setting goals, identifying and prioritizing work leading to overall mission accomplishment.
  • Strong strategic communication skills for documenting and relaying findings to customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in building winning teams to drive process improvement and deliver results.
