Principal Technical Program Manager,

About the role

This role will guide large-scale technical programs that improve the reliability, resilience, and operational effectiveness of core systems. You will partner closely with engineering leaders to translate business goals into executable technical plans, while navigating complex dependencies across the organization. The position requires strong program leadership, deep technical fluency, and the ability to drive clarity, prioritization, and execution across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and translate them into technical systems problems
• Define systems programs and create actionable plans for reliability improvements
• Leverage technical knowledge of core systems to influence engineering teams
• Prioritize tasks, scope projects, and define objectives to address engineering challenges
• Manage the entire lifecycle of technical programs from initiation to forecasting and scheduling
• Oversee complex dependencies and projects across the organization
• Collaborate to develop reliable disaster recovery solutions for the company's services

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of experience with software teams
• 4+ years in Technical Program Management or Technical Product Management
• Familiarity with datastores such as S3, DynamoDB, SQL, and Elasticsearch
• Experience with GraphQL, Kafka, and Flink
• Proven track record in managing risks and dependencies
• Strong understanding of Agile software development processes

Compensation

$204,300 – $266,725 annually
