About the role

The Strategic Partnership Manager will support the growth of the Strategic Partnership Engagement team at Amazon. This role involves building partnerships with strategic business partners to drive revenue growth and customer adoption across all market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Advise customers and commercial sales teams on the value of partners and align partners with the AWS sales teams to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Expand existing AWS footprint, as well as drive new customer engagements with partners to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build input-focused project plans for achievement of key measures.
  • Communicate program status updates to stakeholders and business leaders through various governance mechanisms.
  • Plan and create standardized reporting, performance metrics, and operational process optimization.
  • Drive and provide business insights for deep dives in business reviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner teams and internal AWS stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 10+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience.
  • 10+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience with business development work including complex agreements with integrators and ISVs.
  • 10+ years’ experience working with partners through Alliance Management, Account management, Program management and Business Development engagements, as examples.

Qualifications

  • Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
  • Direct experience working with AWS consulting and/or technology partners or you have been an employee at a large AWS partner.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and other sales, marketing and project management tools.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.

Pay

Base salary range: $176,100.00 - $238,200.00 USD annually
