About the role
The Strategic Partnership Manager will support the growth of the Strategic Partnership Engagement team at Amazon. This role involves building partnerships with strategic business partners to drive revenue growth and customer adoption.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on AWS strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS across strategic business partners.
- Drive top-of-the-line revenue growth and overall end-customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement.
- Engage with CXO-level customers and commercial sales teams to highlight the value of AWS partners and align partners with AWS sales teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to build input-focused project plans for achieving key measures.
- Communicate program status updates to stakeholders and business leaders through various governance mechanisms.
- Create and execute on strategic business plans, including enablement, practice development, and marketing, to achieve partner goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 10+ years of professional or military experience.
- 10+ years of working with core cloud technology services, including compute, edge, hybrid, security, and networking.
- 10+ years of go-to-market, business development, sales, or consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and convey compelling value propositions.
- Management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate appropriately to drive joint partnership and business plans.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
- Experience with business development work including complex agreements with integrators and ISVs.
Qualifications
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Direct experience working with AWS consulting and/or technology partners or being an employee at a large AWS partner.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and other sales, marketing, and project management tools.
- Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments.
Skills
Strategic thinking, business acumen, negotiation, relationship management, and strong communication skills are essential.

Pay
Base salary range: $193,700 - $262,000 annually
