About the role
The Mobility Payroll and Tax Team at RTX Corporation is seeking a Principal Specialist, Payroll to join their fast-paced, high-volume, metrics-driven, highly collaborative cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of expatriate payrolls.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in expatriate payroll services for international assignments.
- Oversee payroll governance for US expat payrolls, including timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Document and develop procedures and provide training and support to team members.
- Serve as a point of escalation and approve team deliverables.
- Maintain and ensure payroll compliance within company policy.
- Ensure data integrity in expat management system relating to compensation history.
- Review and respond to information requests from internal and external audits, providing source table data, compensation calculations, and response to policy questions.
- Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with the business unit program leadership teams to ensure efficient processing of expat compensation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Aid with team needs and as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- 5+ years experience in Mobility payroll processing, allowance calculations, and global compensation services.
- 2+ years of experience with Equus platform.

- Must be able to demonstrate expertise in problem-solving, analysis, and issue resolution.
- Must be able to work extended or flexible hours, as required, to meet requirements of global payroll operations.

Pay and Benefits
- The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Work Location
This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Cedar Rapids, IA, Dallas, TX, Tucson, AZ, Farmington/Hartford, CT.
