About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Specialist, Contracts, who will be responsible for customer account management, collaborating with internal and external customers and cross-functional support groups. This fast-paced role involves a variety of responsibilities and is based at our Windsor Locks facility in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise on issues related to assigned orders.
  • Manage Repair Purchase Orders from a range of Commercial and/or Military Airline customers.
  • Convey customer requirements, including initial acknowledgment, quoting, shipment, and invoicing of customer orders.
  • Manage contractual requirements, including:
    • Asset reporting
    • Customer service level/on-time delivery
    • Turn time penalty avoidance
    • Status reporting
  • Collaborate across functions including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, Shop Supervision, Shop Technicians, Customer Support Managers, and Field Service.
  • Travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

You Must Have

  • University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

We Prefer

  • Contracts administration experience.
  • Customer-facing experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • SAP experience.
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
