Principal Solutions Architect Healthcare Vertical
About the Role
As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will drive excellence in B2B strategy, solutions development, and opportunity closure across the Healthcare vertical. You will serve as a strategic subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate the growth of key products.
Responsibilities
- Developing vertical-based solution sales motions for Business Markets (B2B) within the Healthcare vertical to drive sales of Fixed Wireless Access, OneTalk, Security, and Strategic Phones.
- Increasing market penetration, account retention, and new account acquisition by collaborating with business leaders, marketing, product, and technical sales teams, and educating sales organizations on vertical details.
- Serving as a vertical solution and strategy specialist and Project & program solution lead for the Business Markets segment.
- Identifying, proposing, deploying, and managing the full solution lifecycle (from pilot to commercial adoption), driving partner strategy, and providing expert guidance on RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
- Meeting with key B2B clients as an industry expert to generate new sales opportunities, present industry trends, and position Verizon solutions to resolve business pains.
- Coordinating account mapping exercises with Sales teams, conducting effective probing questions, and ensuring comprehensive documentation and timely follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant sales experience required.
- Product and partner management experience.
- Experience and deep knowledge of Healthcare vertical including: business practices and trends, competitive landscape, technology needs, and eco-system of partners and solution providers.
- Executive presence and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the United States.
Qualifications
This position requires travel throughout the United States and will be based out of any major U.S. city.
Schedule
40 scheduled weekly hours. In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $137,000.00 - $239,000.00, varying depending on location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted to reflect hours worked.
