About the role

We are looking for a talented, experienced software engineer to join our Software Development team. You will help create advanced solutions in Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning, and Electronic Attack (EA) for defense-related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address evolving national security challenges. As an integrated team member, you will collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers during Development, Integration, and Testing phases. This is a customer-facing role with regular interaction and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform backlog prioritization in coordination with management and the customer
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
  • Deliver contract deliverables on time with acceptable quality and 90%+ first-pass customer acceptance
  • Plan and participate in formal software development milestone reviews with the engineering team and the customer
  • Evaluate complex software designs to identify design flaws
  • Work with collaborative tools and support the development of an automated digital delivery capability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience
  • Active Secret Clearance (within the last two years)
  • Proficient in C++ and Object-Oriented Design/Development
  • Experience with software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience performing software testing, validation, and verification activities
  • Familiarity with GIT, Jira, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full life-cycle software development experience
  • Software automated test development and execution
  • Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and ClearCase
  • Software/Firmware interface definition development
  • Experience with Embedded Software Development
  • Linux and containerized software development
  • Integration & Test (I&T) experience
  • Electronic Warfare (EW) software experience
  • Strong teamwork skills

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $118,095 – $200,762. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
