About the role

The principal is responsible for developing caring learners through the administrative operations of the school as well as the instructional leadership, individual guidance and the school-wide facilitation of improving instructional effectiveness leading to increased student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of staff in the school
• Oversight of professional development activities and district curricular programs
• Effective collaboration with community and parent patrons
• Building care, student activities, and student discipline
• Development of school policies and procedures to ensure compliance with District, State, and Federal educational policies
