Principal Sales Specialist, Analytics, Auto & Mfg
About the role
The Principal Sales Specialist, Analytics, Auto & Mfg drives revenue and market share in a defined territory, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive account/territory plans, creating compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services, accelerating customer adoption of Amazon analytics services, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, working with partners to extend reach and drive adoption, and developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
- Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.
- Accelerate customer adoption of Amazon analytics services.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline leveraging sales force automation tools and best practices.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.
- 5+ years of technology sales experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain industries.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts including IoT, digital twins, connected vehicles, predictive maintenance, and smart factory analytics.
Skills
- Strategic sales leadership.
- Deep technical and business acumen.
- Confidence in engaging with both C-suite executives and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value.
- Collaboration across AWS teams, including sales representatives, solutions architects, product managers, professional services, and partners.
