Key job responsibilities
- Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
- Drive business and technical relationships and close business at a rapid rate by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
- Establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
- Have day-to-day interactions with key strategic partners, DIB partners and emerging tech partners
- Have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at senior military and civilian levels.
- Have a technical background that enables them to easily interact with partners, staff officers, contracting officials, software developers, and architects.
- Have experience thinking strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
- Help identify key strategies for growth that apply across the Defense and Intelligence business areas.
- Be able to travel as necessary.
- 10+ years of technology sales experience
- Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- 10+ years working with Systems Integrators and/or technology partners supporting the DoW
- US government security clearance of top secret or above
- 7+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry experience
- Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Master's degree and 5+ years of professional or military experience

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
USA, VA, Arlington - $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Herndon - $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 USD annually
