Principal Sales, Mission Programs, Dept of War Sales Team

About the role

Build the AWS Cloud Computing business for the United States Department of War. Engage with key Defense customers, systems integrators, and solutions providers to adopt and deliver cloud computing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business at a rapid rate.
• Help define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
• Establish deep business and technical relationships through knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
• Have day-to-day interactions with key strategic partners, DIB partners, and emerging tech partners.
• Interact with senior military and civilian levels, both business and technical.
• Think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, building and conveying compelling value propositions.
• Identify key strategies for growth applicable across Defense and Intelligence business areas.
• Travel as necessary.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology sales experience.
• Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years working with Systems Integrators and/or technology partners supporting the DoW.

Qualifications

• US government security clearance of top secret or above.
• 7+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry experience.
• Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Master's degree and 5+ years of professional or military experience.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 USD annually.

Schedule

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
